Walking the Grand Concourse With Sam Goodman

There are so many great things happening in the Bronx in May as we've detailed in our Cool Things to do in May piece. One of the events we were most excited about was the Jane's Walk- Walking the Grand Concourse with Sam Goodman tour. The weather was perfect, and Sam was so knowledgeable and engaging.

There is such rich history in the Bronx and the complexities of what brought our borough down in the 70's and 80's is just so intriguing. It's never as simplistic as it seems. Multifaceted systematic changes had a perverse effect on our borough and the stigma still lives on. But our website and people like Sam are trying to change that.  Take a look at the beauty that surrounds us manifested in both man-made structures and natural beauty.
