Romeo Santos- "King of Bachata" | Dr. Pepper Commercial & Yankee Stadium Tour

Bronx native, Romeo Santos, pays tribute to his neighborhood in his "/1" (one of one) Dr. Pepper campaign.  He is seen walking through Simpson Street and Westchester Ave, where the 'I Love the Bronx' piece by Tats Cru is prominently displayed. 

The campaign also features Grammy winning Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, YouTube sensation Michelle Phan, and Graffiti artist Retna.

There was also very exciting news for Romeo, the Bronx, and fans of Bachata today.  At 12 noon Romeo and the Yankees announced that he will be headlining a tour in Yankee Stadium.  This will make him the first Latin artist to do so.  He will follow a trove of musical superstars- Billy Joel, Eminem, Jay-z, Justin Timberlake, Madonna and Paul McCartney, to showcase his talents in the Bronx. 

A very special moment for a boy born and raised in the Bronx,  congrats to Romeo!
