Kemba Walker debuts "Bronx Boogie" Sneaker
Native Bronxite, Kemba Walker, debuted his player exclusive Under Amour “Bronx Boogie” Anatomix Spawn sneakers against the Miami Heat on Monday night. The design of the shoe was inspired by his favorite movie Beat Street and his upbringing in the Bronx, where he was raised at the Sack-Wern Houses in Soundview.
The sneaker features a blue and orange colorway, true to the Charlotte Bobcats' color scheme, graffiti on the side and the KW logo on the tongue.
The "Bronx Boogie" sneakers are actually the second homage that Kemba and Under Armour pay to the Bronx. On his return to NYC to play against the Brooklyn Nets, Kemba wore a Black and Silver iteration of the sneaker, which was representative of the culture of Soundview.
Although these two sneakers are player exclusives, you can shop for other versions of the Anatomix Spawn at Under Armour.
