Woodlawn Conservancy Presents: The Bronx Opera Company Spring Concert Event Recap

What a treat! The Woodlawn Conservancy has awesome weekly events, most of which are free.  This Sunday, the Bronx Opera Company performed a Spring Concert at the Woolworth Chapel.   The performances were great and they ranged from solos to duets.

The most memorable performance for me was the "Largo al Factotum".  The performer was great and engaged the crowd; he really took it to another level.  I also really loved the duet of Léo Delibes' Lakmé, which you're all probably familiar with as British Airways uses the song in their ads.

Overall, it was just amazing to have the opportunity to witness the Bronx Opera Company perform, and to also see them perform in an intimate and historic setting as the Woodlawn Cemetery.  Plus it was free!

If you missed this awesome event, be sure to check the events page to stay in the know.  All events can be added to your Google or apple calendar.
