Event Recap- Wave Hill Garden & Conservatory Highlights Walk

What a perfect day to visit Wave Hill and participate in the Garden Walk- the sunshine and warmth made it all the more enjoyable!  Our walk started promptly at 2:00PM and our guides, Joyce and Marsha, were fantastic.  They were very knowledgeable and flexible.  We started our tour at the Overlook, which has beautiful views of the Palisades and of the George Washington Bridge.  We then went to the Marco Polo Stufano Conservatory, home of the Palm House, the Cactus and Succulent House, and Tropical House. What an amazing treat; Wave Hill is truly a must see! We then walked to the Wave Hill House, which was recently restored. On our way to the Aquatic Garden we stopped by the Alpine House, and witnessed a bee pollinating one of the flower plants. Unfortunately the Aquatic Garden was covered in snow, so there wasn't much to see, but the view from up there was great.  All in all, a wonderful afternoon at Wave Hill!
