Woodlawn Cemetery Presents - Prelude: A Day for Jazz

Celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month with an afternoon dedicated to the incredible lives and talents of the jazz greats at rest in the Bronx's Woodlawn Cemetery.

All day long, self-guided tours will lead visitors to the final resting places of those who made New York City "America's jazz capitol": Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Sonny Greer, Lionel Hampton, Coleman Hawkins, Illinois Jacquet, Frankie Manning, Florence Mills, King Oliver, Max Roach, and so many more.
